The advantage of flower pressing is that you can do quite a lot to a flower when you dismantle it to get it ready for pressing and drying.
So the odd brown petal or brown edging, should not be a problem for an experienced flower preservation artist. But be warned! Finished pressed flower projects can disguise just exactly how much work has gone into preparing and working on the flowers so it does take an expert hand to deal with certain flowers!
Ideally the flowers should be received the first or second working day after the event however with many years experience, its not unusual for me to agree to work on bouquets which are around 2 weeks old..I just can't say no to a bouquet or a bride who is desperate to have her flowers saved!
Ideallyhttp://www.susanfowler.co.uk/ book in advance so that arrangements can be put in place for the flowers to be delivered within a reasonable amount of time to get them at their freshest. If in doubt always ring.
Sending you a flowery wave from my FIRST BLOG!
